About Us

Gen Z Innovate is a design firm that specializes in human centered design for the Gen Z marketplace.  We are Gen Z innovators, members of Generation Z, trained in design thinking methodology, with a unique personal perspective into the needs and insights of our generation.

Who We Are

Gen Z Innovate is “shoes on the ground” researchers and designers at college campuses across the US.  The GEN Z team is uniquely positioned to evaluate company marketing strategies and product decisions based on the needs and motivations of the Gen Z marketplace.  Our design team produces recommendations and innovative solutions based on human centered research, data analytics, and on-site testing of company marketing strategies.

The GEN Z Innovate Team was trained at the Ramsey Design Lab through partnerships with American Express, BOXED Wholesale, All Things Media,

Liberty Science Center, Crisis Text Line, and The Center for Social Innovation.

What We Do

GEN Z Innovate provides marketing trends and insights specifically aimed at capturing the attention of the Gen Z demography.  We innovate for the Gen Z marketplace by helping companies and social organizations adapt to the needs and characteristics of Generation Z. We assist companies in adjusting brand strategies, product offerings, and marketing out reach. We help social organizations to see the world through the eyes of 16 – 22 year olds and gain insights that facilitate social change.

How We Do It

GEN Z Innovate follows a set of specific “human centered design” research protocols that build upon rigorous empathy interviews and analysis.  Once a strong foundation of research is established, the team proceeds through a design thinking methodology that involves ideation, prototyping, and testing of promising “solutions.”
